Take Ace Gondola, followed by King Hooded 6 and traverse to the top of Hanozono #3 chairlift to access Gate #5

Gate 5 (1,050m) is situated at the top of Hanazono Hooded Quad Lift #3, a short walk or some side stepping required if coming via this lift. You can also access Gate 5 by taking the Pizza Box and skiing down to the entrance.

If you choose to ski slightly to the right straight down gulley, it will take you the base of Hanazono Hooded Quad Lift #3. You can also traverse towards Gate 4 and enjoy the terrain there.

- What kind of terrain is it, why is it a certain challenge level
From the gate, heading skier’s left leads into the Fujiwara No Sawa gully, with the option to continue traversing further across the slope. The terrain here is low-angle and open, making it well suited to smooth, flowing powder turns in good conditions.
As you descend, moving into the tree line and holding skier’s right will guide you back toward the lift.
Alternatively, start by traversing skier’s right from the gate to access widely spaced trees, offering consistent lines and some of the most skiable glades in the area.
