Gate 4 – Fujiwara No Sawa Gate

Location 

Take Ace Gondola, followed by King Hooded 6 and King lift #4 to access gate #4 

A traverse from the top of King Lift #4 

Gate 4 is accessible via a short traverse to the skier’s left from Gate 3 and sits at 1,180 meters above sea level.

Gate 4 provides mid-mountain access into the East Ridge zone, opening onto rolling terrain with a mix of open slopes, natural ridgelines, and scattered tree sections. The variability here allows for multiple line choices depending on conditions and ability. 

For a longer, more committing option, traverse high skier’s left toward Jackson’s Cornice. From there, continue down toward the summer access road or link into Lower Jackson’s. Exits require sustained traversing and flat sections, making it more suitable for skiers or snowboarders confident carrying speed across terrain.
