After clearing the flat track, the terrain splits around a central gully, offering two distinct options.
Staying skier’s left leads beneath the gondola into a broad, open face with a moderate pitch. This zone allows for fast, flowing turns in open terrain before naturally guiding you back toward skier’s right and into the gully. As the slope steepens, tree glades begin to tighten, carrying you down to groomed runs that return to the gondola base.
Heading skier’s right presents a more demanding line choice. A ridgeline extends along this side, with multiple steep entry points dropping into the gully below. This terrain consistently holds soft snow due to wind loading, often preserving fresh lines throughout the day. However, exposure is higher, with cornice formation common along the ridge and increased instability developing later in the season due to sun effect.
